Pavement Inventory and Analysis

Oates Associates worked with the City of Troy to inventory roadways and prioritize repairs and reconstructions for a long-range transportation plan. The City, which is comprised of nearly 7.5 million square feet of pavement surface, strives to maintain quality public facilities for residents.

After discussing the City’s goals and evaluating options, Oates set up MicroPAVER with the FieldInspector module to perform the pavement inventory. Oates inventoried 50-miles of City Streets using a “tablet” within two weeks.  Street characteristics, such as pavement type and functional classification, were documented using PAVER software.
