Belle Valley Industrial Park

Phases I through III of the 120 acre Belle Valley Industrial Park expansion were funded by grants from the U.S. Economic Development Administration. Oates Associates provided assistance with the grant applications, design, contract documents, a property survey and construction services.

The project included 9,000 feet of streets with curb and gutter and storm sewers. The design included several large detention basins to accommodate runoff from the new road, proposed buildings and parking lots. Sanitary sewer extensions were designed to serve the development. Oates submitted an application for Illinois Environmental Protection Agency permits, as required.

Services included preparation of right-of-way documents and statutory plats. Contract administration in accordance with EDA requirements, construction observation, staking and testing were provided on all phases of construction.
