Bruce Schopp, PE, SE, President of Oates Associates and Steve Keil, PE, PLS, Project Manager were honored with a Distinguished Service Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois (ACEC-IL) during the 2015 Annual Meeting.
Mr. Schopp received a Distinguished Service Award in recognition of his service as Chair of the Illinois Department of Transportation Committee. The committee is comprised of 90 ACEC-IL members and IDOT staff. For the past three years, Mr. Schopp served as the liaison, addressing all related business issues between government and private practice.
To acknowledge Mr. Keil’s three years of service as the Co-Chair of the Regional Meetings Committee, he too was honored with a Distinguished Service Award. As the Co-Chair, Mr. Keil educates ACEC-IL members on business practices and governmental affairs as they relate to consulting engineering.
