The existing water treatment plant is located in a flood plain and has experienced repeated flooding. Due to the flooding and the facility being out of date, the City is building a new water treatment plant at an adjacent property and will utilize some of the existing lime fields.

Oates Associates is providing architectural services for a structure that is anticipated to include offices, training rooms, support rooms, restrooms, a wet lab, shower facilities, a control room as well as chemical storage and a filter room. The building itself will be designed to complement the historical architecture and surrounding residential community. We will incorporate LEED Strategies for the building and Envision Strategies for the site / infrastructure.
