The School of Business offers internationally accredited programs, prepares students for the business environment, and cultivates future leaders. It is important for students to have a dedicated space that supports studying, learning and researching. To provide the resources needed to help students develop their professional skills, the School of Business renovated a previously occupied space, located on the 3rd Floor of Founders Hall, into the new Cougar Business Resource Center.

Oates Associates provided architectural and interior design services for the 3,700 square foot renovation. Features include a student check-in desk, offices, a large conference room, smaller rooms for student meetings, a java bar and a resource center complete with computers, large LCD monitors, smart boards and research materials. Sustainable finishes were selected with the assistance of the School of Business. Materials include bamboo veneer, glass tiles, pressed sorghum panels, recycled glass countertops and other products with high recycled content.
