Mr. Schopp is President / Chief Operating Officer for Oates Associates, and also provides principal oversight on the firm’s Illinois Department of Transportation projects. He is currently managing structural design work for the US-67 Jerseyville ByPass project, which involves management of a team of three other consultants designing 4 miles of new freeway, two interchanges and six road or railroad grade separations.

Mr. Schopp is also currently managing assignments for IDOT Districts 3, 7 and 8 to provide on-call planning and design services for bridge rehabilitation/ replacements throughout each District.
