Mr. Schopp is President / Chief Operating Officer for Oates Associates, and also provides principal oversight on the firm’s Illinois Department of Transportation projects. He oversees all operations including project selection and management, technical production, Quality Assurance, technical / professional staff development and client development. He is currently managing structural design work for the US-67 Jerseyville ByPass project, which involves management of a team of three other consultants designing 4 miles of new freeway, two interchanges and six road or railroad grade separations. Mr. Schopp is also currently managing assignments for IDOT Districts 3, 4, and 8 to provide on-call planning and design services for bridge rehabilitation / replacements throughout each District.
